The 魅影直播 State College women's soccer team had their eight game unbeaten streak snapped in a 1-0 loss at Monroe CC on Thursday afternoon. The Lady Pioneers, ranked #7 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, are now 9-3-1 overall on the season and 8-2-1 in Region III Division III play.
Casey Reinhardt scored the lone goal of the game in the 70th minute as neither team could muster much offense. ASC had a couple chances to score but the combination of Amanda Prestigiacomo and Kimika Forbest combined for the shutout. Meghan Lowell (Keshequa) made 15 saves in the Lady Pioneer net.
ASC returns to action on Saturday when they host Herkimer CCC. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
