Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts programs at the School of Applied Technology of 魅影直播 State College will prepare a holiday buffet on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus. Cost is $15 (all inclusive) per person. Children 10 and under can eat for $7. Proceeds will benefit the Top Hat Scholarship Fund.
The menu prepared by culinary arts students will feature roasted top round with demi-glace, stuffed turkey with cranberry sauce (and all the trimmings), appetizers, soups, garden & Caesar salads, and vegetables.
Culinary arts/baking, production and management students will provide assorted rolls and muffins to accompany the dinner as well as a full dessert bar. A choice of beverages will round out the menu.
Student general manager for this event is Amber Funk, Nunda, third-year baking intern. (She has already earned an associate's degree in culinary arts and has returned for a second degree in baking, production and management.) Serving as front-of-the-house manager is Seth Wilson, culinary senior from Brocton.
Santa will also be present for the festivities; guests are encouraged to bring a canned food item for a local food pantry or a new toy for distribution in the community.
