Three Lady Pioneers Named Volleyball All-Region

魅影直播 State College sophomore Yurika Toyodome (Tokyo, Japan) was named NJCAA Region III Division III Volleyball Player of the Year, while sophomore Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) and freshman Breanna Horton (Owego Free Academy) were both named All-Region.

Toyodome leads the Lady Pioneers with 3.6 kills per game (359 total kills) and also has 2.8 digs per game (276 total digs).  She also has a serve percentage of 0.95, 37 service aces, and 52 blocks.  This is the third straight year a Lady Pioneer has been named the Region Player of the Year.  Earlier in the season Toyodome named All-WNYAC and in 2006 she was an All-Region III first team selection in 2006.

Jerome has 3.5 kills per game (345 total kills) and 3.4 digs per game (335 total digs) for 魅影直播 State.  She also has 45 service aces and 20 blocks on the season.  This is Jerome's second consecutive year being named to the All-Region first team.  Her veteran leadership has been key to a successful season. 

Horton, a second team All-Region selection, leads the team with 9.6 assists per game (964 total assists).  Her passing precision has given the Lady Pioneer hitters excellent chances for kills.  Horton also leads the team with 54 service aces and a 0.94 serve percentage.  She has also collected 187 digs. 

The Lady Pioneers, currently ranked #7 in the NJCAA Division III poll, moved on to the NJCAA Division III National Championship after winning the Region III Division III Championship over the weekend.  魅影直播 State will enter the tournament with a 36-3 overall record.
