Students at 魅影直播 State College (ASC), especially those living in the Main Gate residence halls, have a new place to watch their favorite teams, play video games, or enjoy their favorite shows and movies. The Hub was recently opened in Main Gate B.
The Hub features three televisions, cozy chairs, tabletop seating, a popcorn machine, and a coffee maker. The walls of the renovated lounge are filled with ASC intercollegiate and club sport jerseys along with the original Big Blue jersey.

Cameron Hernandez, one of the resident assistants in the building, is excited for the opportunities the new space brings to the students that live in Main Gate A and B. 鈥淢y hope and the goal for a space like this is to really foster more community building events. Having a room like this at our disposal to do events for residents is a great way to build a community and get them interacting with the staff and each other in a positive way.鈥
Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Spencer Peavey thanked the facility crews at the college, residential life staff, and the athletic department for their parts in making an idea into reality. 鈥淵ou have allowed us to create a space for student that will allow them to gather and enjoy themselves outside of their room.鈥

ASC President Steven Mauro added, 鈥淭his space is like nothing I have seen on a college campus before. It is about as inviting of a space as you can get. It has exceeded anything that I could have ever conceptualized in my own brain.鈥
Hernandez looks forward to hosting events around his favorite team鈥檚 games. 鈥淚 am really looking forward to having the Buffalo Bills games on here on Sundays. Whether they like or hate the Bills, I think it'll be a wonderful way to get residents together.鈥
The college plans to renovate and reimagine lounges in residential halls across campus in the future.
