2022 ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State graduate Alec Harrigan was recently honored as the recipient of the Student Project Award for the 2021-22 school year by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Buffalo/Western New York Chapter.

Civil engineering professor Tim Piotrowski has been granted emeritus status for his service to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College students, faculty, and staff participated in the fall poetry reading event hosted by the English and Humanities Department.

William Dean, professor and department chair of the Architecture and Design program, traveled to Oklahoma State University and participated in the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) Scholars in Professional Practice program.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College students in the Sport Business Club have scored big with the formation of a 3v3 Basketball League. The league recently finished their second season.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State alum Reuben Zielinski ’82 returned to campus and shared his story of entrepreneurship to current students from the School of Architecture, Management & Engineering Technology (SAMET).

Dr. Mark Whitman, an associate professor in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State, recently published the book "A New Understanding of Burnout: Empowering Change Through Prevention: Cracking the code of burnout of public safety but important for you!"

The Bethesda Foundation was honored for their continued support of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College at the President’s Society Dinner. The Foundation was awarded the President’s Medallion.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Agriculture and Veterinary Technology Department hosted nearly 800 students during a pair of events at the college farm.

Eric Spence and his family stepped on to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s campus and knew that it was the right spot for him to pursue his dreams. His education and his experiences at ASC have led him to a Senior Project Engineer role with Balfour Beatty.
