First-year ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State agriculture student Hope Avedisian (Hilton) and her heifer Fortune finished 8th at the National Junior Dairy Show in Harrisburg, PA.

Instructor Casey Arlig-Hinz and several ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State agriculture students volunteered at the Livingston County Farm Fest at Coyne Farms.

Matt DiRado, Jeff Hellwig, and Andrea Williamson were named the recipients of the Advising Excellence award at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s annual Recognition Celebration.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s Kathy Bliss and Debra Tomm have received Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. Bliss was honored with the award for Faculty Service while Tomm was honored for Classified Service.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) Agriculture and Veterinary Technology Department recently held a successful Showmanship Competition at the college farm. Students showcased horses, goats, and dairy cows.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) students Emma Bower (Fillmore) and Halimat Akanbi (Ozone Park) have won the 2022 Vanguard Award. The NET (Nontraditional Employment & Training) program presents the Vanguard Award annually.

Country Folks, a weekly publication serving the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic agriculture industries featured ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s Center for Organic Sustainable Agriculture (COSA).

Jill Elston, a 2010 ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) graduate of the Vet Tech program, is the recipient of the 2021 American Human Hero Veterinary Nurse Award.

In recognition of outstanding achievement in the consistent production of high-quality milk, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College Farm recently received a Special Gold Certificate Award from the Dairy Farmers of America (DFA).

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College recently hosted 280 Future Farmers of America students from 15 western New York high schools for the 33rd annual Agriculture Skills Contest.
