Dr. David Ray and his criminal justice class acted quickly to neutralize the threat and the emergency drill was deemed a success.

Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Gregory Sammons donned the defensive suit and simulated the threat for this exercise. He noted “it was an affirmation of our readiness to find so many doors locked and people taking the right precautions. I also want to congratulate Dr. Ray and his class for their physically assertive response. They were not passive, and I had no chance to act before they had me immobilized on the floor.”  

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) students in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) worked with the Corning Habitat for Humanity office on a civic engagement project. Thirty-one students participated in the project.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) recognized Sarah Claud, clinical coordinator for diagnostic sonography in the Allied Health Department, as the recipient of the Student Advocate Award.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) has announced the appointment of Assistant Professor Bryan Toepfer, AIA, NCARB, CAPM, as the NCARB Architect Licensing Advisor for the architectural programs. Professor Toepfer will assume his position effective September 1, 2022, in addition to his duties as Program Coordinator of the AAS Architectural Technology program in the Department of Architecture and Design.

Many years before the national debate focused on student debt, ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) has offered a simple solution. Keep student costs low, aid and merit scholarships high, while starting salaries for graduates keep growing. Less of the family budget money going out and more money coming in helps make dreams of going to college into reality at ��Ӱֱ�� State.

Throughout the summer, members of the ��Ӱֱ�� State College community have been getting together for Sundae Tuesday’s. The event has allowed ASC employees to get to know each other over a bowl of ice cream.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) Director of Athletics Jason Doviak announced today the addition of three new varsity sports. ASC will add women's wrestling along with both men's and women's lacrosse.

LaDonte King, Vice President of Student Success of LAUNCH, coached ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) faculty and staff just before school opened in a full-day workshop to improve student engagement in the classroom.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) recreation department has developed an electric bike loaner station in the Student Leadership Center.

A week full of events will welcome back students to ��Ӱֱ�� State. The annual Week of Welcome features over one hundred events prior to the start of the Fall 2022 semester.
