Using her education and experiences, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Construction Management graduate Melissa Vandermark is now working on multi-million-dollar projects across the country.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s (ASC) construction supervision program is highlighted in the latest edition of the Building the Southern Tier, the official publication of the Builders Exchange of the Southern Tier.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State alum Joseph Laraiso, ’67, and Madison Szpaicher, ’17, have been honored for bringing distinction to their alma mater and to themselves through their outstanding personal and professional achievements.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) students Emma Bower (Fillmore) and Halimat Akanbi (Ozone Park) have won the 2022 Vanguard Award. The NET (Nontraditional Employment & Training) program presents the Vanguard Award annually.

Kaleb N. Winters, PLS, a 2005 graduate of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC), was recently named the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS) Surveyor of the Year.

The leading national publication for surveying professionals, Point of Beginning magazine, is focusing attention on the value of an education through the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) Surveying and Geomatics program. The article highlights ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s hands-on approach to prepare students and connections to the industry. 

In addition to enjoying a round of golf on June 22, participants in the 2021 Anthony S. Santaro Scholarship Golf Classic at Turning Stone Resort Casino were also able to learn more about ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s Doc Bruce Campaign at a post-event reception.

According to an article by Buffalo Business First, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College alumnus Kyle Brent and his brother, Tyler, are embarking on a $12.6 million expansion of their business, Brent Industries.

Ashley Weakland, a 2017 graduate of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s surveying engineering technology program, recently made history when she became the first woman ever appointed as assistant Hornell Department of Public Works (DPW) superintendent.
