On this and every Veterans Day it is important to remember that the freedoms we enjoy are not guaranteed. They are and have been protected by the men and women in our Armed Services. 

In a ceremony that celebrated the pride, purpose, and promise of ��Ӱֱ�� State College, Dr. Steven Mauro was inaugurated the 13th president of the college.

On Thursday, the bells will once again be ringing at ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) just in time for the inauguration of Dr. Steven Mauro as president.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) students, graduates, faculty, staff, and community members are looking forward to the inauguration of Steven Mauro, PhD, as the thirteenth president on October 20. One person with an interesting perspective fits each one of these categories.

Student and faculty success will be showcased as guests take the “Pioneer Walk” following the Inauguration of Dr. Steven Mauro, PhD on Oct. 20. ��Ӱֱ�� State’s campus will come alive with examples of work done by students.

Homecoming/Family Weekend returns to ��Ӱֱ�� State with a schedule full of events to please current students, alumni, families, and friends. Events begin on Oct. 20 and run until Oct. 23. 

SUNY's Interim Chancellor Deborah Stanley has added the upcoming inaugural festivities at ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) to her calendar on Oct. 20. Dignitaries throughout the region and community members are welcome to attend the ceremony and take a tour of the campus through a “Pioneer Walk” afterwards. The action-packed college life found at ��Ӱֱ�� State is a key element of inaugural celebrations for Steven Mauro, PhD, as the college’s thirteenth president.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) is using the upcoming inauguration of Dr. Steven Mauro as an opportunity to celebrate the college and the entire WNY region including the great food that is found here. The reception following ASC inauguration ceremonies on October 20 is titled “A Taste of Western New York.”

Restoration of the bell tower at ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) along with the rebuilding and upgrading of the college’s underground infrastructure are just some of the extensive construction projects currently underway.

The inauguration of Steven Mauro, PhD, as the thirteenth president of ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) will take place on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center.
