“The competition was both challenging and exciting. We were tasked with trying to figure out a farm's biggest areas of improvement and make a presentation the next day to a panel of judges, which required a lot of brainstorming, creativity, and teamwork. Working with students from other colleges was a unique experience. It was fascinating to see the different perspectives and skills each person brought to the team.”

A trio of ��Ӱֱ�� State faculty members were honored with the Excellence in Faculty Advising Award during the 40th annual Honors Convocation.

��Ӱֱ�� State Associate Professor and Department Chair of the Business Department Mark Bloxsom and Lecturer in the Physical and Life Sciences Department Jennifer Ross were honored with the Student Advocate Award during the 40th annual Honors Convocation.

As a Nutrition course, I feel it’s our responsibility to bring awareness to food insecurity and support efforts to combat it. My students had the opportunity to participate in organizing, designing, selling, and preparing meals.”

Hundreds of ��Ӱֱ�� State students were honored at the 40th annual Honors Convocation. Dr. Carrie Cokely, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presided over the event.

We build programs to support student goals and workforce needs, as well as those that will support our local community. I am continually inspired by watching students transform from uncertainty to confidence."

Dr. Richard Kellogg, professor emeritus of psychology at ��Ӱֱ�� State College, has authored his ninth book in a series of mystery stories for children entitled “Barry Baskerville and the Stolen Car.”
