Parking Lot Closures

Throughout the year, at different times, parking lots on campus can be closed down for events, construction, emergency repairs, snow removal, etc. Please always refer to your email for closures, specifically the faculty & staff and student announce emails. In addition to the emails, you can monitor the  and  pages for information on short term closings. Vehicles that remain in closed parking lots, or re-enter after the closing time, are subject to enforcement up to and including towing at the owner's expense.

Requesting a Parking Lot Closure or Spaces to be Blocked for an Event

Fill out the web form at least two weeks prior to your requested date. If you have not heard back from a member of the University Police staff within one week of submitting your request, please email universitypolice@alfredstate.edu to ensure that your web request was received. 

Parking Concerns

If you have any questions or concerns related to the parking on campus, or rules and regulations, you may direct your concerns to the following email: parkingconcerns@alfredstate.edu.

Note: this email account is NOT to be used for appealing a parking ticket. The parking ticket appeal form can be found under the Forms drop down or picked up at the University Police Department in person. You have 5 business days to appeal a parking ticket.
