A Message from Admissions
As we wrap up the spring semester, we are excited to share some great updates about what's ahead this summer and fall!
÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State continues to deliver exceptional outcomes—an impressive 99% of our graduates are either employed (80%) or continuing their education (19%) shortly after graduation. Even more remarkable, 93% of those employed are working in their field of study, proving that an ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State degree leads directly to career-relevant opportunities. Combined with our top-ranked return on investment in the region, it's clear that ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State is a smart investment in the future.
We're also excited to introduce three new certificate programs launching this fall: Animal Care Assistant, Licensed Practical Nursing, and Voice Writing (Online).
- Animal Care Assistant CertificateThis program is ideal for students interested in entering the animal care field or preparing for ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State's Veterinary Technology AAS program. It provides hands-on experience and foundational skills for employment or continued education in veterinary and animal care-related fields.
- Licensed Practical Nursing CertificateThis hands-on program prepares students to work under the supervision of registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, and other health care professionals as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) — gaining real-world experience through clinicals, simulation labs, and skill practice. Upon completion, students are eligible to apply for licensure in New York as an LPN and sit for the NCLEX-PN exam to launch a nursing career.
- Voice Writing Certificate (Online)This program trains students in the specialized skill of verbatim reporting. Coursework covers voice speed control, transcription software, reporting techniques, and legal documentation procedures—preparing graduates to produce accurate transcripts across diverse legal settings.
If you know students who are still finalizing their college plans, encourage them to apply to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State at or . While some programs are currently waitlisted, we still have openings in many majors. Fall classes begin August 25, 2025.
We can't wait to share with you and your students all our exciting developments. If you need anything at all, please contact us at 1-800-425-3733 or by email!
Sincerely,
