÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Residence Director Robert Privitera was presented with the 2020 ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Faculty/Staff Spirit of Service Award at the 10th annual Celebration of Service Ceremony.

A new component of the event was a national collegiate tournament featuring archers from across the country. ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State archers took two top honors, netting first-place finishes in both the men’s open and men’s hunter categories.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College recently joined 13 other Appalachian-based colleges and universities at the 19th annual Appalachian Teaching Project (ATP) Symposium in Washington, DC, to present The Urban Design Studio’s community visualization study of the village of Bolivar.

The Allegany County Board of Legislators recently appointed Carissa Knapp, a 1998 graduate of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s liberal arts and social sciences program, as the new county administrator.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College is proud of the new brand name that aims to bolster the identity of Allegany County.

Morgan’s talk focused on Burns’ young life in Ayrshire, Scotland, and influences on the poet in the years before he became a celebrated figure, first in Scotland and, in a short time, in Europe and the United States.

Among those returning were hundreds of scholars who made the dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester. To be listed, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours for the semester and earned a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) out of a possible 4.0.

Programs now accredited by IACBE include: business administration (AS), marketing (AAS), sport management (AS), accounting (AAS), financial planning (BBA), technology management (BBA), business administration (BBA), and sport management (BBA).

This innovative, collaborative event invites students from all three colleges, and all disciplines, to participate in an entrepreneurial-focused event that seeks to develop creative solutions to real-world challenges.
