��Ӱֱ�� State student Riko Hayano, an interdisciplinary studies major from Osaka, Japan, recently led a campaign to shed some light on the subject of “catcalling” women and to advocate for change and respect.

��Ӱֱ�� State College will host an Oktoberfest dinner from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus.

Patanella, a mechanical engineering technology major from Churchville, secured first place after earning a huge score of 430 in the two-round, 40-target format using Archery Shooter’s Association (ASA) rules.

Barber became a faculty member in 1975 and would hold a number of positions at the college over the years, including associate professor, assistant vice president, and dean of the School of Management and Engineering Technology.

��Ӱֱ�� State Building Trades Instructor Stephen Cady was recently interviewed for a story appearing on the Buffalo TV news station WKBW.

Tisch chatted with students and met with members of the President’s Council.

The purpose of the project, Jones said, is to determine if shipping containers can be repurposed into high-efficiency housing or office units, and also to provide students with a new form of applied learning.

Dr. John Williams, dean of the School of Architecture, Management and Engineering Technology at ��Ӱֱ�� State, said, “Having the majority of our technology programs recognized by ABET highlights the strength of our faculty and programs and the great experience provided to our students.”

Students from ��Ӱֱ�� State College, ��Ӱֱ�� University, and Houghton College will volunteer during a month-long service celebration, as both individual students and student organization groups continue to serve community organizations and support Allegany County communities. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College recently hosted 280 Future Farmers of America students from 15 western New York high schools for the 33rd annual Agriculture Skills Contest.
