Fourteen ��Ӱֱ�� State College architecture students recently met with Andover village trustees to present their plan for improving the 200-plus-year-old municipality.

The students were among several hundred archers from across multiple disciplines who competed for top honors in the “3-D” season – a strategic form of archery using foam targets with irregular scoring rings at varying distances, terrain, and lighting conditions.

With an emphasis on hands-on, real-world learning, ��Ӱֱ�� State College students in the School of Applied Technology are well prepared for the jobs they want after only two years of study. In fact, 99 percent have a job immediately after graduation or they continue studies for another degree.

For the past few weeks, ��Ӱֱ�� State heavy equipment operations students have been working with Allegany County Soil and Water Conservation District on a project to protect the residents of Shongo from a flood-prone creek that has overrun its banks on multiple occasions.
