As a result of valued partnerships with a number of companies and organizations, ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) is able to provide unique hands-on learning experiences and real-world equipment that can help turn students into job-ready workers once they graduate. 

Elaine Morsman, director of the Career Development Center at ��Ӱֱ�� State, noted that the demand for employees in these fields is stronger than ever, and that ASC is well-suited to help meet that demand. 

The Educational Foundation of ��Ӱֱ��, Inc., annually provides $10,000 to ��Ӱֱ�� State students through its work-grant program, allowing students who are ineligible for Federal College Work-Study funds to find employment on campus.

��Ӱֱ�� State College's construction management program was the focus of a recent article featured on FUEL, a website run by "word-toting construction junkies who build articles and drill into the details of construction."

Since the 2010-2011 academic year, the Foundation has provided $5,000 annually to the college’s peer tutoring program. As a result, the program has fulfilled more than 610 student requests over the last four years, providing more than 4,910 hours of support.

A pair of ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) financial planning majors were among just 54 students from throughout the nation who recently attended TD Ameritrade’s 2018 National LINC Conference in Orlando, FL. 

In keeping with its focus of preparing students for in-demand careers, ��Ӱֱ�� State is working with Northland Workforce Training Center to provide students a curriculum for hands-on training at the Buffalo facility.

The article, titled “Philip Wylie's Superspy,” discusses a spy novel written by noted writer Philip Wylie (1902-1971).

The School of Arts and Sciences will celebrate Black History Month with the showing of this powerful, contemporary film. Based on James Baldwin’s life and writings and directed by Haitian-born, renowned filmmaker Raoul Peck, the film centers on the murders of Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr.

��Ӱֱ�� State Director of Annual Giving Trish Haggerty and Associate Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations Kaitlyn Brown are among the 13 recent graduates of the Leadership Allegany program.
