��Ӱֱ�� State first year student-athlete Conor Compton (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna) dove to All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving National Championships. Compton finished 7th on the 3m board.

Diver Conor Compton (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna) made ��Ӱֱ�� State history when he qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving National Championships. Compton is the first Pioneer diver to compete at Nationals.

Over 900 high school students and their advisors competed in 44 different competitions held on both the ��Ӱֱ�� and Wellsville campuses.

All their efforts made my idea come to life. I am grateful to see how booked the space has been and that students are really enjoying it. I look forward to what the future holds for this space.”

“WNY Works is a collaborative effort to heighten awareness and interest in associate degrees, certificates, and non-credit training to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to launch high-demand careers. The goal of this effort, in part, is to reframe perceptions of learning opportunities that lead to careers such as highly skilled trades and technical opportunities in manufacturing.”

��Ӱֱ�� State College first year diver Conor Compton (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna – Heavy Equipment Operations) earned a spot a the NCAA Division III National Championships with a 2nd place finish in the 3m diving competition at the NCAA Regionals held at Ithaca College.

��Ӱֱ�� State’s Jessalyn Corson (Apalachin, NY) rode her way to the IHSA Semifinals with a strong showing at the Western Regionals held at ��Ӱֱ�� University’s Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center.

“There are high school and junior college students working on animation and film projects all over the state. We wanted to showcase their great work and give them a channel to share their work with others. We also hope they explore what we have to offer here at ��Ӱֱ�� State to enhance their education.”
