The ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) Culinary Arts department will be holding a Mardi Gras plated five-course dinner on Feb. 21.

“I like being hands-on. We have lectures and go through the basics, and we talk through everything that we will experience in the real world. Getting hands-on you learn more, experience it, and you know exactly what is going to happen. When I go into the industry, I will already have done it.”

“Adding the Peace Officer training course was a natural fit after the passing of legislation that required probation officers to be certified. There is a demand for this type of training, and we are happy to provide it.”

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) is excited to announce the addition of 25 new faculty and staff members.

“CPR is the first step to saving someone’s life. The quicker we can get to someone to save them the better chance of survival they have. As an UP officer, we are certified every other year and we train yearly in these skills. There is a good need for training like this right now. It makes me feel good that I can teach people and help people prepare themselves for the future.”

��Ӱֱ�� State College President Dr. Steven Mauro applauded the success stories of the fall semester and shared his excitement for the upcoming spring semester as he delivered his State of ��Ӱֱ�� State address.

At ��Ӱֱ�� State, we can all be instruments of positive change by serving those around us. Dr. King demonstrated courage, vision, and compassion in his work for equality and social justice. We can follow his guiding principles by living our core values of respect, integrity, service, and dedication.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State Police Academy will welcome their fifth class in May. The academy is designed to serve cadets pre-employment (Phase I) and employed (Phase II) while earning the Division of Criminal Justice Service Basic Course for Police Officers Certificate.
