Pioneers record another shutout

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's soccer team recorded its fifth shutout of the season on Thursday in a 5-0 victory at JCC-Olean. The Pioneers improve to 6-6-1 on the season and 6-4-1 in Region III Division III play.

Lady Pioneers Down Erie for 3rd Straight Win

Brittany Hannah (Eastridge) and Jody Ninos (��Ӱֱ�� Almond) each scored two goals and passed out an assist as the ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's soccer team downed Erie CC 5-1 on Thursday afternoon. The win was the Lady Pioneers third straight and improved the team to 6-5-1 overall and 5-5-1 in Region III Division III play.

Jerome adds National Honor, Team remains ranked 9th

��Ӱֱ�� State College freshman outside hitter Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) has been named the NJCAA Division III hitter of the week. Jerome helped lead the Lady Pioneers to a 8-0 record last week

Baseball to take on Genesee

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College baseball team will take on #2 Genesee CC in the semifinals of the Western New York Athletic Conference Championships. First pitch of the contest will be at 11 a.m. at Genesee CC.

��Ӱֱ�� State used a four-run eighth inning to propel them to a 4-3 victory over Mercyhurst North East in a first round Western New York Athletic Conference contest.

Lady Pioneers shut out Olean

Jody Ninos (��Ӱֱ�� Almond) netted two goals and passed out an assist as the ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's soccer team downed JCC-Olean 3-0 in a WNYAC contest. A-State improves to 5-5-1 overall on the season and 4-5-1 in Region III Division III play.

Late Goals lead Pioneers past Erie

��Ӱֱ�� State and Erie CC battled in a scoreless tie for the first 81 minutes but the Pioneers netted two goals in the final 8:20 to down the Kats 2-0. With the win the Blue and Gold improve to 5-6-1 on the season and 5-4-1 in Region III Division III play.

Jerome Named Region Athlete of the Week

��Ӱֱ�� State College freshman outside hitter Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) has been named the Region III Female Athlete of the Week. Jerome helped the Lady Pioneers volleyball team to an 8-0 week including a 7-0 record at the Onondaga CC Tournament.
