Since taking on the role of chief diversity officer of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Police Academy last year, Dr. Mel Chambliss has been working hard to make positive changes in the policing profession.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State recently honored several faculty and staff members for their 10 years of service to the college.

Year after year, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) continues to produce a high percentage of graduates who secure jobs in their chosen fields or further their education at a higher level.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State would like to recognize Director of College Housing Andrew Bayus and Student Records and Financial Services Administrative Assistant 1 Deborah Pratt for their 35 years of service to the college.

The University Police Department (UPD) at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College recently welcomed three new officers to its ranks.

Two of Dr. Bruce’s former students who graduated from ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State in 1977 and are now industry leaders are co-chairing an exciting industry-wide campaign to raise $500,000 to build The Doc Bruce Construction Materials Laboratory on campus. 

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Archery Team recently wrapped up its season in the USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals in Richmond, VA, with archer Jacob Houseknecht bringing home a medal in a second consecutive top 10 Target Nationals performance.
