The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team fell to Corning CC,  ranked #4 in NJCAA Division III, in their final road contest of the season.  The Lady Pioneers are now 12-22 (9-14 Region III Division III) after 10-6 and 10-2 defeats.

ASC Announces New Bachelor Degree in Business Administration

wishing to acquire a four-year degree in business administration need look no
farther than ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College.  The State University of New York
(SUNY) and the State Education Department have approved a bachelor's degree in
business administration (BBA) to begin admitting students in fall 2009.

Baseball Earns #3 Seed for Regionals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team will be the #3 seed in this weekend's Region III Division II Tournament.  The Pioneers will enter the double-elimination tournament to be played at Monroe CC with a 26-15 overall mark and a 7-5 record in RIII DII games.

An offense averaging 16 goals a game never could get going as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team saw their season come to an end following a 18-6 loss to #4 seed Monroe CC in a Region III Tournament opening round contest.  The Pioneers, ranked #9 in the NJCAA, finish their campaign with a 10-4 record.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team scored 28 runs and collected 30 hits in a doubleheader sweep, 17-8 and 11-1, of Finger Lakes CC in the team's regular season finale.  The Pioneers will head into this weekend's Region III Division II tournament as the #3 seed with a 26-15 overall record.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team will enter the Region III Tournament as the #5 seed.  The Pioneers wrapped up their regular season on Sunday with a 10-3 overall record and a 8-3 mark in Region III play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team wrapped up the regular season with a convincing 16-4 victory over Tompkins Cortland CC.  The Pioneers, ranked #10 in the latest NJCAA poll, will head into the postseason with a 10-3 record and a 8-3 mark in Region III play.

The #10 ranked ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team closed out the home portion of their season with a 21-11 victory over Jefferson CC on Saturday.  Ten different Pioneers found the back of net as the blue and gold scored their most goals of the season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team struggles in the field led to a doubleheader sweep at Genesee CC, 12-2 and 4-3, on Saturday to close out the Region III Division II regular season for both teams.  ASC is now 22-15 (7-5 RIII DII).

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team scored 33 runs in a doubleheader sweep of Broome CC on Thursday afternoon.  The Pioneers improve to 22-13 on the season with 17-5 and 16-11 victories.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's track and field team moved up one spot and the women's team remained solid in the latest NJCAA Division III Poll.  The men are currently ranked 3rd while the women hold on to the #8 ranking.

(SUNY) 2009 Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence winner. Samuel Parent,
Gouverneur, was honored at a reception in Albany in April where he received a
commemorative certificate and a medallion suitable to be worn at commencement
and other special events.
