Finger Lakes CC started the game on a 25-6 run as they downed ��Ӱֱ�� State 77-62 on Tuesday evening.  The loss drops the Pioneers to 2-7 on the season.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team went on a 11-0 run late in the second half en route to a 62-57 victory over Finger Lakes CC.  FLCC led 54-50 with just under six minutes when ASC went on their run.

Ten members of the ��Ӱֱ�� State College football team have earned All-NFC honors.  Sir Aaron Taylor (West Cheter/Lincoln Hall), Colter Johnson (Warren, PA), and Josh Griffin (Englewood, NJ/Dwight Morrow) were named to the 1st team, Kyle Ricks (Alexandria, VA/Mt. Vernon) was named 2nd team, and Cody Scepanik (Vestal), Devin Simmons (Elmira Free), Wade Hammond (Walton), Nick DePofi (Union Endicott), Justin Smith (Richmond, VA/CD Hylton), and Damion King (Detroit, MI/Madison Heights) were all 3rd team selections.

Sections of the internationally celebrated AIDS Memorial Quilt – the 54-ton, handmade tapestry that stands as a memorial to more than 92,000 individuals lost to AIDS – will be on view at ��Ӱֱ�� State College, from Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 through Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. in the Allied Health Building, Room 225. The display is open to the public free of charge.

��Ӱֱ�� State, in conjunction with Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, has served as an associate campus for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program hosted by Cornell University since 2007.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College wrestling team earned their first dual match 25-22 over Jamestown CC.  The Pioneers are now 1-3 on the season in 1-1 in WNYAC action.

Students enrolled in the culinary arts programs will prepare a holiday buffet on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus. Cost is $16 (all inclusive) per person. Children under 10 can eat for $7. Proceeds will benefit the Top Hat Scholarship Fund.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's team dropped their fifth straight game 73-55 to Rockland CC in the consolation game of the 2010 ASC Tournament.  The Pioneers head into the Thanksgiving break with a 2-6 mark.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team defeated Fulton Montgomery CC 50-45 in the championship game of the 2010 ASC Tournament.  The Lady Pioneers head into the the Thanksgiving break with a 7-3 mark.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's swimming team won their second straight invitational at Herkimer CCC on Saturday.  The women's team finished 4th out of six teams.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's basketball team shot just 30.2% from the field and turned the ball over 25 times as they fell 83-55 to Fulton Montgomery CC in the first round of the 2010 ASC Tournament.  The blue & gold are now 2-5 on the year.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team defeated Jefferson CC 70-44 to advance to the title game of the 2010 ASC Tournament.  The Lady Pioneers are now 6-3 on the season and will take on Fulton Montgomery CC tomorrow in the championship game at Noon.

Six students enrolled in ��Ӱֱ�� State College’s construction management engineering technology bachelor of science program recently took second place in the Commercial Building division at the Associated Schools of Construction Region I (Virginia to Maine) estimating and scheduling competition, he

��Ӱֱ�� State College on Thursday evening.  ASC led 33-32 at half and led 48-43 before the Panthers tied the game at 56-56 with eight minutes remaining.

��Ӱֱ�� State College freshman cornerback Brett Harrington (Rochester/Edison) has been named the Northeast Football Conference co-special teams player of the week.

Four members of the ��Ӱֱ�� State College cross country team ran to NJCAA Division III All-American at the National Championship last weekend at Sunken Meadow State Park.  Joe Seitz (Williamsville North) ran to 2nd team honors while Alex Farrell (N. Tonawanda), Frank Mastraccio (Rome Free), and Abbey Benton (Frewsburg) were honorable mention All-Americans.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College wrestling team has been busy in the past couple of days competing in three dual matches and the Muskegon (MI) Open.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's swimming team defeated Erie CC 89-79 in a WNYAC dual match on Wednesday night at the Orvis Activities Center pool. The Lady Kats pulled off a 90-52 victory.

Physical and Health Sciences at ��Ӱֱ�� State College, traveled to Milan, Italy, this month to present “So Now You Are a Program Director,” at the 2010 International Federation of Health Records Organizations (IFHRO) Congress.

Eight ��Ӱֱ�� State College students attended an ACUI (Association for College Unions International) conference where, for a portion Saturday, the students participated in a community service activity.

Students enrolled in ��Ӱֱ�� State College’s motorsports technology program recently returned from a seven-day field trip to Mooresville and Concord, NC, to get an insider’s view of professional racing.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's basketball team fell behind and couldn't rally all the way back and fell 70-60 to CC of Beaver County.  The Pioneers are now 2-4 on the season.

Physical and Health Sciences Department, met with Honors Program members and other guests Nov. 10, to discuss legal and illicit drugs from both a policy perspective and a forensic chemist’s perspective.

Veterans’ Day 2010 saw ��Ӱֱ�� State College pay tribute to veterans and current members of the United States armed forces with the release of a special edition of Ergo, the student literary magazine, comprised of pieces written by current and former students who served or are serving in the armed forces and those who love them.

For the second year in a row the ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's cross country team finished as national runner-ups at the NJCAA Division III National Championships.  The Pioneers scored a 90 trailing just SUNY Delhi's 40.

In a wild game that featured seven interceptions and four blocked kicks, Louisburg College (NC) defeated ��Ӱֱ�� State 23-12 to wrap up the 2010 season.  The Pioneers end the season with a 4-6 record.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team improved to 5-2 with a 66-54 victory at SUNY Orange on Saturday afternoon.
