The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's basketball team fell 83-54 to SUNY Orange on Saturday.  The loss drops the Pioneers to 2-4 on the season.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team downed Houghton JV on Thursday evening 76-40.  ASC is now 4-2 on the young season.

��Ӱֱ�� State College freshman punter Colter Johnson (Warren, PA) has been named the Northeast Football Conference special teams player of the week.  Johnson had a solid day as the Pioneers battled #8 Nassau CC.

Cayuga CC outscored ��Ӱֱ�� State 44-34 in the 2nd half to erase a four-point halftime deficit en route to a 68-62 victory.  The Spartans are now 1-3 on the year while the Pioneers are 2-2.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team used a 79 to 46 rebounding advantage en route to a 69-56 victory over Cayuga CC.  ASC is now 3-2 on the season.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College wrestling team opened up their 2010-11 campaign at the Clarion University Open.  Cody Dill (Unatego) and Tyler Peet (Unadilla Valley) both picked up two wins in competition.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team struggled in their fourth game in six days and fell 63-36 to SUNY Delhi in the championship game of the Delhi Tournament.  ASC is now 2-2 on the season.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's swimming team won the Genesee CC Harvest Invitational while the women's team finished 4th out of six teams.  The men scored 263 points on the day to defeat Herkimer CCC by 13 points.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College football team fell 42-34 in a valiant effort to #8 Nassau CC in their 2010 home finale. The Pioneers head into the final week of the season with a 4-5 mark while the Lions remain undefeated, 10-0.

��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball coach Gina Boyd registered her 300th career coaching win at ��Ӱֱ�� State as the Lady Pioneers downed Finger Lakes CC 61-50 in the first round of the SUNY Delhi Tournament.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's basketball team rallied from an eleven point halftime deficit to down Cuyahoga CC 68-63 in a hard fought contest.  The Pioneers improve to 2-1 on the season while the Challengers fall to 0-2.

Five ��Ӱֱ�� State College students, participating in mixed-university teams, captured two Platinum Awards, two Gold Awards, and one Silver Award for their team analyses and presentations to the panel of judges at the recent eighth annual Northeast Regional Dairy Challenge held in Batavia in October.

The movie To Save A Life will be shown as part of anti-bullying week, at ��Ӱֱ�� State College, Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 5 p.m. in the Orvis auditorium on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus. The movie, which is rated PG-13, is open to the public free of charge. A discussion of the film will follow immediately after the movie.

Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) came off the bench and sparked the ��Ӱֱ�� State men's basketball team defeated Corning CC 84-56 .  ASC is now 1-1 on the year while CCC falls to 0-2.

Khaylah Moss (Chenango Valley) led the ��Ӱֱ�� State women's basketball team to a 54-45 victory over Corning CC on Thursday evening.  ASC evens their record to 1-1 on the season while CCC falls to 0-2.

The purpose of the tour, according to instructor William Horton, was to put into practice an actual case study inside of the manufacturing facility.

“Don’s gift will allow us to develop a great land laboratory,” says ASC Dean of Arts and Sciences Dr. Terry Tucker. Holzer agrees: “I’m very enthused – I can see the agriculture program being reborn through Dean Tucker’s enthusiasm and vision. The sun is beginning to shine again on agriculture at ��Ӱֱ�� State.”

Colleges play a vital role in preparing our nation’s workforce and in acting as agents of economic change. The ��Ӱֱ�� State College swim team dove into the 2010-11 season with a strong showing vs. Genesee CC.  The women defeated GCC 87-60 while the GCC men won 100-92.

��Ӱֱ�� State College women's soccer players Tara Scholla (Genesee Valley) and Holli Pierce (Livonia) have been named All-Region.  Scholla was a 1st team selection while Pierce was named to the 2nd team.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's cross country team remained #4 in the ninth edition of the NJCAA Division III poll while the women drop one spot to #9.

Broome CC had four players finish in double-figures as they defeated ��Ӱֱ�� State 78-58 in the season opener for both teams.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's basketball team never got going as they fell 64-56 to Broome CC in their 2010 season opener. 

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College volleyball team raised $1,225 with their "Dig Pink" event on Tuesday, October 19th.  The money raised will be donated to the Side-Out Foundation.

��Ӱֱ�� State College sophomore volleyball players Brittany Haines (Salamanca) and Kelley Dumbleton (Warsaw) have been named All-Region.  Haines was a 1st team selection for the second time while Dumbleton was named 2nd team.

Ergo, the student literary magazine, will be available Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Allegany Room of the Central Dining Hall on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus. The event, sponsored by the College’s Department of English and Humanities, is open to the public free of charge.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's and women's basketball teams will open up their 2010-11 seasons on Tuesday evening when they host Broome CC at the Orvis Activities Center.

Auxiliary Campus Enterprises and Services (ACES—the campus dining, vending, and transportation provider) was delighted to learn that the video it prepared for orientation has won the 2010 Outstanding Multimedia/Emerging Technology award from the National Orientation Director’s Association (NODA).
