The Educational Foundation of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, Inc., is a private foundation representing faculty, staff, and friends of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College dedicated to improving the ASC community through the support of educational programs.

Holli Pierce (Livonia) scored 4:02 into the 2nd overtime to lift ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State to a 1-0 victory over Erie CC on Thursday evening.  The win improves the #8 Lady Pioneers to 8-2 on the season and 7-2 in Region III Division III play.

Men's Soccer Suffers Tough Loss

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Erie CC battled back and forth for 90 minutes with the decisive plays of the contest coming within two minutes of each other.  ECC netted the lone goal of the contest five minutes into the 2nd half and then denied a penalty kick opportunity less than two minutes later.

Wood Named National Player of the Week

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College freshmen defensive back John Wood (Rochester/East) has been named the NJCAA special teams player of the week.  Wood was instrumental in the Pioneers 49-27 victory over Stevens Tech on Saturday.

Cross Country Remains #1, Men still 6th

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's cross country team remains #1 in the lastest NJCAA Division III poll.  The Lady Pioneers shared the honor last week but hold it by themselves this week.  ASC's men are ranked #6 for the second straight week.

Office of Communications Named Recipient of NCMPR's District 1 Medallion Awards

The Office of Communications at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College has been notified by the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) that it has been named a recipient of that organization’s District 1 Medallion Awards for its entries, the Athletics Brochure and bus wrap, in the categories of Brochure/Flyer Series and Transit Advertising, respectively.

The six-game winning streak of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team was snapped by Jamestown Olean.  The Jaguars defeated ASC 1-0.

Fall Baseball Season Comes to an End for ASC

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College fall baseball season came to an end on Tuesday following a 12-3 loss at Erie CC in the 1st round of the WNYAC Tournament.  ASC jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning but could never recover after ECC answered with six runs in the bottom of the 1st.

2011 Hall of Fame ClassDuring Homecoming 2011, five ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College athletic alumni were inducted into the athletic department hall of fame.  Swimmer John Meade, track & field athlete Damian Rodriguez, lacrosse player Matthew Covert, baseball player Joe Greany, and swimmer Ashley Vogl will join the 56 inducted athletes.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team closed out the WNYAC regular season on Sunday with 11-1 and 13-9 losses to Genesee CC.  ASC heads into the WNYAC tournament starting on Tuesday with a 2-10 record.

After winning their opening match of the ASC pod 3-2 in a dramatic back-and-forth contest, the Lady Pioneers couldn't solve #8 Niagara CCC and #9 Erie CC.  The Lady Pioneers are now 12-8 on the season and 7-4 in Region III Division III play.

440 yards of offense and an 87-yard kickoff return sent the Homecoming crowd home happy as ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State defeated Stevens Tech 49-27.  The win improves ASC to 2-1 on the year while Stevens Tech is now 2-2.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team earned a pair of walk-off wins as they swept a doubleheader from Jamestown CC on Saturday, 4-3 and 3-2.  The wins are the first of the fall for the Pioneers and improve the team to 2-8 in WNYAC play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team fired 42 shots as they defeated Niagara CCC 7-0 to win their sixth straight.  ASC built a 5-0  halftime lead en route to improving their record to 7-1 on the year.

Trailing 2-1, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team rallied to win the final two games vs. Corning CC for a 3-2 victory (25-23, 24-26, 23-25, 25-19, 15-13).  The Pioneers are now 11-6 on the season.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team evened up their record with a 2-1 victory over Broome CC.  The win in the team's first home match of the season improves the team to 3-3-1 while BCC is now 4-4.

Playing their sixth straight game on the road to start the season, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's soccer team was tripped up 6-0 by Genesee CC.  The Pioneers head home after their long road trip with a 2-3-1 record.
