For the second weekend in a row the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State volleyball team swept through POD play. The Lady Pioneers were 3-0 this weekend at the Onondaga CC POD to improve to 12-4 overall and 8-1 in Region III Division III play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer team scored five 1st half goals en route to a 6-0 victory over Mercyhurst North East on Saturday afternoon. The #5 ranked Lady Pioneers have now won four straight and are 4-1 on the year.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State's offense could never get going as Erie CC defeated the Pioneers 30-7 in a Region III battle. The Pioneers are now 1-1 while the Kats are 1-2.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State baseball team was swept by Monroe CC on Saturday in a WNYAC doubleheader. The Tribunes won the opener 4-2 in 8-innings and earned a 15-0 win in game two.

Former ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Temple University wide receiver Rod Streater achieved his dream and made his NFL debut as a starting wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders as they took on the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football.

Thunderstorms Halt Women's Soccer Game

Thunderstorms in the Delhi area halted the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer game at SUNY Delhi prior to the 70th minute forcing the cancellation of the game. The two teams will try to make up the game from the beginning later in the season.

Athletic Department to Host Viewing Party of Streater's NFL Debut

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State athletic department will host a viewing party of Rod Streater's NFL debut with the Oakland Raiders. Doors will open in the Cappadonia Auditorium (in the Orvis Activities Center) at 10 p.m. for the 10:15 p.m. kickoff.

Pioneers Rally to Tie Penn College
