On Saturday from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. the Pioneer Pub will once again be open for drinks, dancing, and food as alumni and friends gather to celebrate ��Ӱֱ�� State and share memories of their time at the college. The event includes a DJ, snacks, and a cash bar. Admission is $10 per person.

The New York State University Police Department at ��Ӱֱ�� State College is proud to announce that two of its officers recently graduated from the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy's Basic Course for Police. 

The archers selected to represent ��Ӱֱ�� State College were the top three members of both the men’s compound and men’s hunter teams based on their performance at last month’s eastern regional championships in Virginia.

Under Merry’s guidance, and thanks to the hands-on training he received in his program, Jury, a welding technology student from New Windsor, fabricated a collapsible, three-burner brew stand for D’Arcy for his senior project.

Speaking about the donation, Debra Burch said, “I think we have a need to support our country’s values and diversity. What better way to start than to fly the American Flag in our classrooms?”

“I’m going to put it to good use,” Mack said. “I’m going to drive it to work every day.”

��Ӱֱ�� State Vice President of Economic Development Dr. Craig Clark has recently been named to the Appalachian Regional Commission’s (ARC) Substance Abuse Advisory Council.

“We are very proud to say that after this graduation we will have over 200 alumni and over 100 active students who are still involved with NSLS,” Troy Morehouse said.

Roughly 300 athletes from 12 area school districts recently participated in the Special Olympics Track and Field Spectacular at ��Ӱֱ�� State.

Students enthusiastically accepted the hats and acknowledged that ��Ӱֱ�� State helped prepare them for the workforce.

The student speaker was Hannah Weaver, of Spencerport, a May 2019 graduate of the business administration baccalaureate degree program.

��Ӱֱ�� State masonry students are gaining real-world, hands-on experience and helping out the village of Wellsville through construction of a welcome sign.

Altogether, the talents of 25 student clubs and organizations were highlighted in the Pioneer Expo’s showcase portion. 

Collectively, the 28 ��Ӱֱ�� State students scored five points higher than the national average and accounted for a pass rate that was 9 percent higher than the nationwide rate. Altogether, more than 1,300 students from around the country participated in the exam.

Devon Clark, a construction management student from Perrysburg, was recently inducted into the Zeta V Chapter of the Sigma Lambda Chi (SLC) International Construction Management Honor Society at ��Ӱֱ�� State.

This book is the sixth entry in a series of mysteries for children, and is available on the Amazon website. It contains beautiful color illustrations by noted Hawaiian artist Gary Kato.

The story mentions that ��Ӱֱ�� State regularly competes in the event, and that the college finished first and tied for third in the autocross competition after the rally. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College celebrated the achievements of hundreds of students recently during the 35th annual Honors Convocation, with Dr. Kristin Poppo, provost, presiding over the event, and SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of English and Humanities Dr. Aniko Constantine serving as grand marshal.

As a way to recognize its numerous donors and shed some light on the many things that have resulted from their generosity, ��Ӱֱ�� State recently held TAG (Thank A Giver) Day on campus.

While the weather may have been a bit too cool and damp for a festival, attendees of the 48th annual Hot Dog Day nevertheless had an excellent time celebrating, making memories, and enjoying a hot dog or two.

The Performing Arts Department would like to invite you, your family, and friends to its free, annual Instrumental/Vocal Music Spring Concert on Saturday, May 4, beginning at noon at the Orvis Activities Center Cappadonia Auditorium.

Five students were recently inducted into the Psi Beta honor society, an organization that promotes interest in the study of psychology at two-year colleges.
