As we join friends and family this week to celebrate Thanksgiving, I wanted to express how thankful I am to be a part of this hardworking and dedicated team. We not only provide our students with a quality education, but we support them in our caring community.

Civil engineering professor Tim Piotrowski has been granted emeritus status for his service to ��Ӱֱ�� State.

��Ӱֱ�� State College students, faculty, and staff participated in the fall poetry reading event hosted by the English and Humanities Department.

Growing up in the suburbs of Rochester, Jesse Olsovsky, ’99, experienced snowstorms growing up but a move to Florida after graduating from ��Ӱֱ�� State College has him adjusting to the aftereffects of tropical storms.

William Dean, professor and department chair of the Architecture and Design program, traveled to Oklahoma State University and participated in the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) Scholars in Professional Practice program.

��Ӱֱ�� State College’s seventh annual Day of Giving raised over $317,000 to benefit scholarships, new programs, updated technology, athletics, and so much more. The final amount raised establishes a new Day of Giving record. 

From running through the academic halls as a kid to walking the same halls for the last 26 years as a professor, Mike Putnam, has ��Ӱֱ�� State College pride running through his body.

On this and every Veterans Day it is important to remember that the freedoms we enjoy are not guaranteed. They are and have been protected by the men and women in our Armed Services. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College students in the Sport Business Club have scored big with the formation of a 3v3 Basketball League. The league recently finished their second season.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State Drama Club is excited to present “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” as their fall production. Four performances will be held at the Cappadonia Auditorium from Nov. 17 – Nov. 19.

��Ӱֱ�� State alum Reuben Zielinski ’82 returned to campus and shared his story of entrepreneurship to current students from the School of Architecture, Management & Engineering Technology (SAMET).

The ��Ӱֱ�� State volleyball team won the AMCC Championship 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-21) over Penn State Behrend. The victory clinches an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The Educational Foundation of ��Ӱֱ��, Inc., a private foundation representing faculty, staff, and friends of ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC), recently welcomed two new board members, Kristopher Green and John Sadowski.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College University Police are teaming up with the ASC Athletic Department and the ��Ӱֱ�� Fire Department to participate in the 3,000 pushup challenge.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State Police Academy honored the Class of 2022 in a ceremony held at The Main Place in Hornell. The event celebrated fifteen cadets.
