��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) ranks in the US Top 10 for students seeking health sciences or health information technology and ranks No. 1 in New Your State for 10 majors in the School of Arts & Sciences.

The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) hosted six ��Ӱֱ�� State College students at the 22nd annual Appalachian Teaching Project (ATP) symposium.

Mikenna Riethmiller (North Collins, NY) was the Hi-Point Rider in both the AM and PM show as the ��Ӱֱ�� State College Western Equestrian team competed at ��Ӱֱ�� University’s Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center.

New students from any state in the country can now receive a scholarship at ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) that reduces tuition to match ASC’s in-state rate of only $7,070. The new Freeway Scholarship is good for all first-time full-time residential students starting in the fall of 2023.

��Ӱֱ�� State architecture students presented their plans for "A Modern Connection to the Historic Village" at the David A. Howe Library in Wellsville. More than 45 students were involved in developing plans for Downtown Wellsville.

��Ӱֱ�� State College president Dr. Steven Mauro has been named to the NCAA Division III Presidents Council. He is the first AMCC president or chancellor to be selected to serve in this leadership role.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of a second Hall of Excellence made possible by generous contributions from J. Joseph Wilder, ’77, and his wife Laura Linneball. The newest Hall of Excellence, located in the entryway of the Workforce Development Center on the Wellsville campus, showcases achievements and contributions of ASC alumni and friends.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State performing arts organizations will showcase their work this semester on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Cappadonia Auditorium. 

The State University of New York announced that John B. King, Jr. is now named to become 15th Chancellor of SUNY. ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) and President Dr. Steven Mauro are excited to work with King as he begins his role in January.

The Joseph S. Laraiso Construction & Geomatics Lab was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new lab will give ��Ӱֱ�� State students the ability to work in teams in a hands-on facility that fosters learning.

2022 ��Ӱֱ�� State graduate Alec Harrigan was recently honored as the recipient of the Student Project Award for the 2021-22 school year by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Buffalo/Western New York Chapter.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) is pleased to announce that Jill Dunn is joining the college’s Office of Institutional Advancement as the Major Gift Officer.

Jessica Middaugh (Wellsville) was sworn in by ��Ӱֱ�� State President Dr. Steven Mauro as the college’s newest University Police Officer on Dec. 1.
