÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) is pleased to announce that Jill Dunn is joining the college’s Office of Institutional Advancement as the Major Gift Officer.

Growing up in the suburbs of Rochester, Jesse Olsovsky, ’99, experienced snowstorms growing up but a move to Florida after graduating from ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College has him adjusting to the aftereffects of tropical storms.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s seventh annual Day of Giving raised over $317,000 to benefit scholarships, new programs, updated technology, athletics, and so much more. The final amount raised establishes a new Day of Giving record. 

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State alum Reuben Zielinski ’82 returned to campus and shared his story of entrepreneurship to current students from the School of Architecture, Management & Engineering Technology (SAMET).

The Bethesda Foundation was honored for their continued support of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College at the President’s Society Dinner. The Foundation was awarded the President’s Medallion.

A perfect fall weekend was the backdrop to a successful Homecoming/Family Weekend at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC). Sunshine, the picturesque valley, and tons of activities highlighted the weekend.

In a ceremony that celebrated the pride, purpose, and promise of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, Dr. Steven Mauro was inaugurated the 13th president of the college.

The last day to purchase tickets for the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Tribute Car sweepstakes is Oct. 22. The car was donated by longtime supporter of the college Bob Couse ’74.

Eric Spence and his family stepped on to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s campus and knew that it was the right spot for him to pursue his dreams. His education and his experiences at ASC have led him to a Senior Project Engineer role with Balfour Beatty.

Homecoming/Family Weekend returns to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State with a schedule full of events to please current students, alumni, families, and friends. Events begin on Oct. 20 and run until Oct. 23.
