÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College University Police Officer Joe Histed was instrumental in putting together the Allegany County Junior Fireman’s Camp. The event was part of a Leadership Allegany project and he enlisted Dispatcher Jamie Dennis-Howe to assist with the event.

Dr. Mark Whitman, an associate professor in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State, recently published the book "A New Understanding of Burnout: Empowering Change Through Prevention: Cracking the code of burnout of public safety but important for you!"

The Bethesda Foundation was honored for their continued support of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College at the President’s Society Dinner. The Foundation was awarded the President’s Medallion.

A perfect fall weekend was the backdrop to a successful Homecoming/Family Weekend at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC). Sunshine, the picturesque valley, and tons of activities highlighted the weekend.

Pioneer Cuts, a new barbershop located in the Pioneer Center at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, has officially opened. The space will give students the opportunity to get a fresh cut right on campus.

In a ceremony that celebrated the pride, purpose, and promise of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, Dr. Steven Mauro was inaugurated the 13th president of the college.

On Thursday, the bells will once again be ringing at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) just in time for the inauguration of Dr. Steven Mauro as president.

The last day to purchase tickets for the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Tribute Car sweepstakes is Oct. 22. The car was donated by longtime supporter of the college Bob Couse ’74.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) students, graduates, faculty, staff, and community members are looking forward to the inauguration of Steven Mauro, PhD, as the thirteenth president on October 20. One person with an interesting perspective fits each one of these categories.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Agriculture and Veterinary Technology Department hosted nearly 800 students during a pair of events at the college farm.
