From running through the academic halls as a kid to walking the same halls for the last 26 years as a professor, Mike Putnam, has ��Ӱֱ�� State College pride running through his body.

The Forensic Science Education Accreditation Commission (FEPAC) has granted the ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) forensic science technology program a second 5-year full accreditation. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College recently presented Nicole DiRado, an assistant professor in the Physical and Life Sciences Department, with the Student Advocate Award.

More than 91 outstanding scientific projects by students from 12 area school districts were featured in ��Ӱֱ�� State’s 21st annual Regional Science and Technology Fair.

“To me, the biggest achievement we can have as educators is to see the students walk across that stage and then become productive members of society,” Bensley said. “Just knowing that we are preparing them to do that, that’s the biggest honor we can have as educators.”

��Ӱֱ�� State educators Dr. Mark Whitman and Wayne Bensley recently shared a wealth of knowledge about the forensics and criminal justice fields with area high school students during Haverling High School’s Investigation and Forensics Career Panel.
