Men's Swimming Captures third title, Women finish 4th

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's swimming team remained undefeated in invitationals by winning the SUNY Delhi Invite.  The Pioneers have now won all three invitationals they have swam in this season.  The women's team finished 4th out of eight teams.

A-State moves on to Finals

Dusty Marshall (Newfield) had a huge game as ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State downed Jefferson CC 66-53 to advance to the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College Tournament finals.  The Pioneers (7-3) will meet Rockland CC in the finals at 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. 

Lady Pioneers win ASC Tournament

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team repeated as the champion of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Tournament with a hard fought 63-53 victory over Dean (MA) College.  With the win the Lady Pioneers have won five straight and improve to 6-2 on the season.

A-State advances to Tournament Finals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team started the contest on a 23-0 and eased to a 89-40 victory over Jefferson CC in their opening round contest of the 4th annual ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Tournament.  The Lady Pioneers advance to the finals on Saturday and will take on Dean College at 2 p.m.

Annual ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College Tournament Set for this Weekend

For the fourth year in a row ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College will host both a men's and women's basketball touranment.  This year's tournament begins on November 30 and wraps up on December 2.

A-State falls to Generals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball team couldn't battle out of an early hole and fell 67-59 to Herkimer County CC on Tuesday evening.  The Pioneers fall to 6-3 on the season.

Lady Pioneers down Elmira JV

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team held Elmira JV to just nine points in the 1st half en route to a 68-40 victory on Monday evening.  The Lady Pioneers improve to 4-2 on the year while the Soaring Eagles drop to 0-1.

A New Standard

For the past thirty years volleyball teams at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College have been compared to the success of the 1976 and 1977 teams. After two unbelievably successful seasons the standard of excellence of the volleyball program will now be compared to the success of the 2006 and 2007 teams.

Williamson finishes 18th at NJCAA Half Marathon

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore Zak Williamson (Rocky Point) continued his solid fall running season with an 18th place finish at the NJCAA Half Marathon Championships.  Williamson along with two teammates finished 12th out of 15 teams that competed.

Lady Pioneers down U of R JV

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team outscored U of Rochester JV 39 to 22 in the 2nd half en route to a 72-54 victory on Monday evening.  With the win the Lady Pioneers improve to 3-2 heading into the Thanksgiving break.
