Late Goals lead Pioneers past Erie

��Ӱֱ�� State and Erie CC battled in a scoreless tie for the first 81 minutes but the Pioneers netted two goals in the final 8:20 to down the Kats 2-0. With the win the Blue and Gold improve to 5-6-1 on the season and 5-4-1 in Region III Division III play.

��Ӱֱ�� State College freshman outside hitter Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) has been named the Region III Female Athlete of the Week. Jerome helped the Lady Pioneers volleyball team to an 8-0 week including a 7-0 record at the Onondaga CC Tournament.

Baseball Earns #3 Seed

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College baseball team will be the #3 seed in this week's Western New York Athletic Conference tournament. The Pioneers finished the fall WNYAC regular season with a 8-4 record and an overall record of 9-5.

Baseball Team wins three of four over the weekend

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College baseball team wrapped up the fall regular season by winning three of four contests over the weekend. The Pioneers downed Jamestown CC 8-1 & 6-1 on Saturday and then split with Genesee CC, L 9-1 & W 3-1.

The Blue and Gold will enter next week's Western New York Athletic Conference Tournament with a 9-5 overall record and a 8-4 WNYAC mark.

Lady Pioneers bring home Onondaga Title

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's volleyball team was a perfect 7-0 (undefeated in 14 games) in winning the two-day Onondaga CC Tournament. The Lady Pioneers, ranked #9 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, have now won nine straight matches and are 17-2 on the season.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College women's soccer team doubled up Niagara CCC 6-3 in WNYAC action on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Pioneers improve to 4-5-1 on the year.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College men's soccer team evened up their Region III Division III record with a 3-2 victory over Niagara CCC on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers are now 4-4-1 in Region III Division III play and 4-6-1 overall.

Balanced Attack leads Globe past ��Ӱֱ�� State

Globe Institute of Technology used a balanced offensive attack to down ��Ӱֱ�� State College 28-13 in the first meeting between the two schools. The Knights gained 458 yards on 94 offensive plays and held the ball for 37:16 of the contest to improve to 3-2 on the season while the Pioneers fall to 2-3 after amassing just 230 yards.

Spikers Sweep Pool Play

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College volleyball team swept through pool play at the Onondaga CC Tournament. They downed #10 Mohawk Valley CC (30-20 & 30-14), Erie CC (30-17 & 30-19), Fulton Montgomery CC (30-4 & 30-20), and Onondaga CC (30-11 & 30-23).
