÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Nine different Pioneers were credited with points as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer team downed Cayuga CC 8-0. The #4 ranked blue & gold scored four goals in each half to improve to 10-1 (9-0 Region III Division III) on the year.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State volleyball team had another impressive Saturday as they swept through the Finger Lakes CC Pod. With wins over Mohawk Valley CC, SUNY Delhi, and Herkimer CCC the Lady Pioneers are now 17-7 overall and 12-3 in Region III Division III play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer team won their ninth straight with a 5-0 victory over Erie CC at Jim Ball Stadium in Orchard Park. The #4 ranked Lady Pioneers are now 9-1 on the season and 8-0 in Region III Division III play.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State volleyball team fell 17-25, 22-25, 22-25 to Jamestown CC in a WNYAC match on Wednesday evening. The Lady Pioneers are now 14-7, 1-3 WNYAC while the Jayhawks are 17-5, 2-2 WNYAC.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State athletic department will induct five new members into the hall of fame during 2012 Homecoming/Family Weekend festivities. Longtime athletic director Kathy Feldman, basketball player Larry Mulcahy, softball player Jodie Corsi, cross country & track and field athlete David Dominguez, and pole vaulter Kurt Dunn will join the Hall of Fame on October 12th.

Both ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State cross country teams have moved up the #2 spot in the latest NJCAA Division III poll. The men made a jump from the #7 spot last week while the women climbed from the #5 spot.

Riding an eight-game winning streak, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer team moved up one spot in this week's NJCAA Division III poll. The blue & gold now hold the #4 spot in the top ten poll after holding the #5 spot the past two weeks.

The #7 seeded ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State baseball team gave #2 Mercyhurst North East all they could handle but the Saints escaped with a 7-6 ten-inning victory in a WNYAC 1st Round contest. MNE advances to the WNYAC Final Four and will take on the winner of the #3 Erie CC/#6 Jamestown CC contest.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer team continued their solid play with a 5-0 win over Jamestown CC - Olean Campus. The Lady Pioneers are now 8-1 on the season and 7-0 in Region III Division III play.

Football player Collin Frazer (Woodbridge, VA) has been named the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State athlete of the week. Frazer was instrumental in the Pioneers 32-13 victory over Stevens Tech on Saturday.
