MVCC Rallies for Double OT Victory

Theresa Guardiano scored with 2:34 remaining in the second overtime to lift #5 Mohawk Valley CC over #4 ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 3-2 in a Region III Division III A Semfinal. MVCC advances to the Finals on Saturday.

Women's Soccer Game Pushed Up

Today's Region III Division III A Semifinal contest between #4 ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and #5 Mohawk Valley CC has been pushed up half a hour and now is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. The time change will hopefully allow for the game to be completed before projected thunderstorms hit the area this evening.

Trio of Lady Spikers Named All-WNYAC

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore volleyball players Brittany Haines (Salamanca) and Kelley Dumbleton (Warsaw) were named 1st team All-WNYAC this weekend while freshman Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) was a 2nd team selection.

Lady Spikers Earn #2 Seed

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team has earned the #2 seed in this week's Region III Division III Tournament. The Lady Pioneers have earned a bye in the first round and will move to pool play at Corning CC on Saturday.

Women's Soccer to Host Mohawk Valley

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's soccer team will host Mohawk Valley CC in the Region III Division III Tournament Semifinals on Tuesday. The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start at Pioneer Stadium.

Lackawanna Proves Too Much for Pioneers

Lackawanna College scored 36 unanswered points to erase a early 3-0 deficit en route to a 36-17 victory over ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State in a NFC contest on Saturday. The Falcons are now 6-2 (3-2 NFC) while the Pioneers are 4-3 (1-3).

Lady Spikers Fall in WNYAC Semis

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team fell 22-25, 23-25, 25-23, 19-25 to Monroe CC in the WNYAC Tournament Semifinals on Saturday afternoon. ASC heads into the Region III Division III Tournament with a 24-9 overall mark.

Frey and Mann Named All-WNYAC

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore baseball players JP Frey (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Tyler Mann (Holland Patent) have been named All-WNYAC following the Pioneers fall season. ASC finished the fall campaign with a 4-11 overall record and a 3-10 WNYAC mark.

Football Game Pushed Back a Hour

Saturday's ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College football game at Lackawanna College has been pushed back a hour and now is scheduled for a 2 p.m. The Pioneers (4-2) and Falcons (5-2) will play at Valley View Stadium in Peckville, PA.
