Jeffrey Stevens received the award in Faculty Service; Gregory Sammons was honored with the Professional Service award; and Sue Cole was presented with the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Classified Service.

Corwin Mackney of Andover, NY, joined the ranks of the University Police at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State at a ceremony on Monday, May 14, 2012. Dr. John Anderson, president of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State, officially swore him into service.

Those honored were David Chilson and James Grillo. Honorees received a certificate and a college lamp to commemorate the occasion.

Those honored for 35 years included Sandra Gerling-Yelle and Charles Neal. Honorees received a certificate and college weather station to commemorate the occasion.

Those honored for 30 years included John Buckwalter, Lawrence Fox, Yogi Jonchhe, and Rita White.

electrical trades, was honored for 25 years of service to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and received a college chair and a certificate to commemorate the occasion.

Those employees honored for 20 years included Gary Porter, carpenter, facilities services; and Stewart Sharrett of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Station, NY, carpenter, facilities services. Honorees received a college clock and a certificate to commemorate the occasion.

In May 2012, ACES brought home some more hardware in the form of another gold award from NACUFS for a catered special event at the Lake Lodge. The Dining Services team is part of Auxiliary Campus Enterprises and Services Inc. (ACES), the not-for-profit corporation that provides dining services on campus.

For award year 2011-12, the foundation provided $9,342.92 in work-study funds for 12 students in the engineering, human resources, international student records and financial services, student activities, and public relations offices.
