ASC Receives National Recognition for Community Service, Named to President’s Honor Roll

Damrath Named Distinguished Jurist by Center for Dispute Settlement

Joseph Damrath, attorney, Hornell City judge, and associate professor at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, has been named a Distinguished Jurist by the Center for Dispute Settlement. He was honored at a luncheon in February. Damrath, who was among 10 candidates nominated for the award, selected by a panel of judges from the Seventh Judicial District (which includes Steuben County), was cited for using peaceful conflict resolution in his courtroom for the past 15 years, which helps in alleviating court-case backlogs.
