÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Nine members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Archery team recently traveled to Lancaster, PA, to compete in the 50th USA Archery Indoor National Championships. The team held its own against colleges from around the country, and ended up with several strong finishes in both regional and national competitions.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State club hockey team capped an impressive season this past weekend by winning the Upstate New York Club Hockey League (UNYCHL) Tier 2 Championship.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College President Dr. Skip Sullivan has been recognized by Buffalo Business First as being one of the most influential people in western New York.

Since the 2010-2011 academic year, the Foundation has provided $5,500 annually to the college’s peer tutoring program. As a result, the program has fulfilled more than 925 student requests over the last six years, providing more than 6,428 hours of support.

The Presidential Aspiring Leaders (PAL) Program was created for students who possess a strong work ethic, display commitment and dedication to their studies, are engaged in the community and the college, and are looking to strengthen their leadership skills.

Students within ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s various health-focused programs were able to meet with many employers recently during a nursing and medical-related career fair. 

A recent article by NewYorkUpstate.com ranked the village of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ No. 1 overall on its list of 40 towns in upstate New York with the most eligible singles.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) is remembering the life of local businessman and pillar of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ community John Ninos Sr., who passed away on Monday, Feb. 18. 

As part of its Women’s Health Initiative, the Allegany County Department of Health will be hosting a free Healthy Food and Cooking Preparation Demonstration Feb. 26 on ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s Wellsville campus.

Graphic arts magazine In-plant Impressions recently published an online article highlighting ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s Print and Mail Services (PAMS), specifically PAMS’ role in the school’s rebranding efforts, and its new ability to print name badges.
