The Performing Arts Department would like to invite you, your family, and friends to its free, annual Instrumental/Vocal Music Spring Concert on Saturday, May 4, beginning at noon at the Orvis Activities Center Cappadonia Auditorium.

Five students were recently inducted into the Psi Beta honor society, an organization that promotes interest in the study of psychology at two-year colleges.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s Print and Mail Services Office recently took home a pair of awards from the In-Plant Printing and Mail Association’s annual In-Print contest.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Automotive Trades students had an excellent showing at the annual Toyota Green Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International Raceway earlier this month. The Pioneers assisted other racers and ended up earning individual and team awards in several different categories.

State University of New York Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson honored 210 SUNY students from across the state in Albany recently with the 2018 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence, including ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s own Peter York and Carolyn Wright.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College is proud to announce that its five-year Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) program recently obtained full accreditation status from the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). 

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) chapter of Phi Kappa Phi was honored to recently induct 16 new student members and one staff member into the nation’s oldest, largest, and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State educators Dr. Mark Whitman and Wayne Bensley recently shared a wealth of knowledge about the forensics and criminal justice fields with area high school students during Haverling High School’s Investigation and Forensics Career Panel.

In recognition of their excellence both inside and outside of the classroom, three ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College students were recently honored with Outstanding Adult Student Awards.

According to Coordinator of Student Activities Brittany Richards, the Relay for Life club adviser, the 2019 Relay for Life was a great success, as the 16 participating teams raised $11,003, which surpassed the Relay committee’s goal of $10,000.
