Pioneer Woodsmen Team a Force To Be Reckoned With

In late April, the 魅影直播 State College Pioneer Woodsmen鈥檚 Club sent two teams, a Men鈥檚 and a Jack and Jill, to their second competition, the 64th Annual Spring Meet Conclave at Paul Smith鈥檚 College, in Adirondack State Park. The Spring Meet is the collegiate woodsmen鈥檚 equivalent of the Super Bowl.

魅影直播 State and Mercyhurst North East split a Region III Division II doubleheader on Thursday. The Saints won a wild opener 11-9 while the Pioneers used a strong pitching performance to win game two, 8-1.

The 魅影直播 State College softball team fell 11-5 and 8-0 to Corning CC in their regular season home finale. The losses were the first this season at home and drop ASC to 10-14 (7-10 Region III Division III).

魅影直播 State's Eddie Sparks (Horseheads) and Steven Hickey (Rochester/Aquinas) earned the Pioneers six points at the Region III decathlon championships the past two days. Sparks finished 4th in the competition while Hickey was 8th.
Hoops for Haiti Charity Basketball Games Set for Wednesday

Nearly 900 two- and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends will be on hand Sunday, May 16 at noon, as 魅影直播 State College honors its 99th graduating class. Commencement exercises are scheduled to be held at McLane Center on neighboring 魅影直播 University campus. Graduates will need to use the tickets in their graduation packets for their families鈥 admission.

The scheduled baseball and softball doubleheader for Sunday April 25th have been washed out. The baseball team was scheduled to play Onondaga CC and no make-up date has been announced while the softball team was scheduled to play Tompkins Cortland CC and will now play on May 8th beginning at 1 p.m.
