��Ӱֱ�� State Football coach Mick Caba is part of the 2012 NJCAA Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame Class. Caba, in his 13th season at the helm of the Pioneer football program is joined in the class by Terrence Cody (defensive linemen from Mississippi Gulf Coast CC) and the 1983 Coffeyville CC football team.

��Ӱֱ�� State volleyball players Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) and Lera Braun (Waterloo) have been named All-Region following the Lady Pioneers 27-15 season. Pfleghardt was a 1st team selection while Braun was named 2nd team.

Cross country runners Kim Lupo (Auburn) and Jedadiah Platt (Barker) have been named the ��Ӱֱ�� State athletes of the week by the SID office. Lupo and Platt were the top ��Ӱֱ�� finishers at the Region III Championships.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State volleyball season came to an end at the Region III Division III Tournament this weekend. The Lady Pioneers were 1-2 in pool play and failed to advance to the tournament semifinals.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State women's soccer team's 2012 dream season ended as Broome CC used two 1st half goals to defeat the Lady Pioneers 2-1 in the Region III Division III A bracket finals. The Lady Pioneers finish their season with a 17-2 mark while Broome advances to the NJCAA DIII National Tournament.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State and Mohawk Valley CC women's cross country ran to a share of the Region III Championships. Both teams scored a 45 and will share the Region III title in a highly competitive race. In the men's competition the Pioneers finished 3rd out of the nine teams competing.

Southern Virginia University took advantage of three ��Ӱֱ�� State turnovers and ten penalties in a 21-6 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Knights improve to 3-6 on the year while the Pioneers fall to 3-4.

��Ӱֱ�� State has been listed among prestigious colleges and universities known for a commitment to civic learning and democratic engagement by NASPA, the leading organization for student affairs administrators in higher education.

A program about ��Ӱֱ�� State’s nationally-recognized study abroad program in Sorrento, Italy, will be presented on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the School of Engineering Technology (SET), Room 215 on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus. A light reception will be offered prior to the event at 6 p.m.

��Ӱֱ�� State students will be among more than 400 student volunteers from Houghton College, ��Ӱֱ�� University, and area high schools who will be participating in “Celebrate Service, Celebrate Allegany” on Saturday, Oct. 27.

��Ӱֱ�� State takes on Southern Virginia University on Saturday afternoon at Pioneer Stadium at 1 p.m.

The 17-1 ��Ӱֱ�� State women's soccer team remained in the top spot of this week's NJCAA Division III poll released today. The Lady Pioneers have won 17-straight and are playing for the Region III Championship this weekend.

Dr. John M. Anderson, president of ��Ӱֱ�� State, has been selected to serve as the State University of New York (SUNY) representative on the SUNY Empire State College Presidential Search Committee.

Heading into this weekend's Region III Championships, the ��Ӱֱ�� State women's cross country team is tied for 3rd in the latest NJCAA Division III poll while the men are ranked #7.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State women's soccer team advanced to the Region III Division III A Finals with a 1-0 victory over Clinton CC in a semifinal match-up. The #1 ranked and #1 seeded Lady Pioneers will take on #4 Broome CC in the finals on Saturday afternoon.

Football players Mikel DeMonte (Brockport) and Thomas Daniels (Bronx/ICE) along with volleyball player Rebecca Hanrahan (Greene) have been named the ��Ӱֱ�� State athletes of the week by the SID office.

Four members of the ��Ӱֱ�� State baseball team have been honored by the Western New York Athletic Conference. Daiki Iizuka (Chiba, Japan) was named 2nd team while Stephen Solomon (Harrisburg, PA), Jordan Wheaton (Wayland Cohocton), and Brett Rapan (Bolivar Richburg).

Three members of the ��Ӱֱ�� State volleyball team have been named All-WNYAC. Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) and Lera Braun (Waterloo) were named to the 2nd team while Jessica Ramsey (Tioga) was a 3rd team selection.

The #1 ranked and #1 seeded ��Ӱֱ�� State women's soccer team will host #9 seeded Clinton CC in the Region III Division III Tournament semifinals on Tuesday afternoon starting at 4 p.m. Clinton defeated #8 seeded Onondaga CC 1-0 on Saturday in a 1st round contest.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State volleyball team was 2-1 at the Western New York Athletic Conference tournament held at Genesee CC. The Lady Pioneers head into the Region III Tournament with a 26-13 overall record.

Four ��Ӱֱ�� State turnovers in the 2^nd half led to the Apprentice School breaking a halftime tie en route to a 35-21 victory over the Pioneers. ��Ӱֱ�� falls to 3-3 on the season while the Builders improve to 2-5.

When complete, this 7,800 square foot residence/entertainment facility will feature state-of-the-art geothermal and solar technologies and will serve as a demonstration home in ��Ӱֱ�� (similar to the programs at ��Ӱֱ�� State.

��Ӱֱ�� State vs. Apprentice School Football Preview

��Ӱֱ�� State is presenting “The Wiz”, Nov. 8-10 at 7 p.m., with a 3 p.m. matinee on Saturday, at the Cappadonia Auditorium on the ��Ӱֱ�� State campus. Tickets are $7 for general admission and $2 for students.

Playing for the first time since earning the #1 ranking in the NJCAA DIII poll, the ��Ӱֱ�� State women's soccer team scored three goals in a span of 1:14 en route to a 4-0 victory over Penn College of Technology. With the win the Lady Pioneers are 16-1 on the year.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 25-18, 25-14, 25-7 victory over Elmira College JV on Wednesday. The Lady Pioneers improve to 24-12 on the year.

��Ӱֱ�� State women's soccer player Kali Muhleisen (��Ӱֱ�� Almond) picked up her third honor of the week. Today she was named the NJCAA DIII soccer player of the week.

After weeks of sitting in the top five, the ��Ӱֱ�� State women's soccer team has vaulted to the #1 spot in this week's NJCAA Division III poll. The Lady Pioneers jumped up four spots from last week's poll to earn the program's first ever top ranking.

Erie CC rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat ��Ӱֱ�� State 3-2 (20-25, 25-15, 25-12, 15-25, 9-15) in the Lady Pioneers annual Dig Pink game. The Kats improve to 19-8 on the year while the Pioneers are now 23-12.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State cross country teams remained steady in this week's NJCAA Division III poll. The women's team remained in the #3 position while the men are ranked #5.
