��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) announced that it is postponing commencement ceremonies due to the COVID-19 outbreak. No date is set for when commencement will be rescheduled.

Effective March 19, Sammons assumed the role of interim director of Alumni Relations. Brintle will begin serving as the new associate director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations beginning March 23.

More than 91 outstanding scientific projects by students from 12 area school districts were featured in ��Ӱֱ�� State’s 21st annual Regional Science and Technology Fair.

Dr. John Williams, dean of ��Ӱֱ�� State’s School of Architecture, Management, and Engineering Technology, recently helped induct six new members into the Zeta V Chapter of the Sigma Lambda Chi (SLC) international construction management honor society at ��Ӱֱ�� State.

More than 900 high school students from Region I Board of Cooperative Education and Services (BOCES) districts, encompassing Western New York and the Southern Tier, competed in the 31st annual SkillsUSA Region I Leadership Conference and Skills Olympics March 3 at ��Ӱֱ�� State.

Speaking to an assembled group of students, faculty, and staff at the Student Leadership Center on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus, Denise M. Miranda, executive director of the New York Justice Center, told the crowd, “We must and we will continue to make progress happen.”

The Educational Foundation of ��Ӱֱ��, Inc., annually provides $10,000 to ��Ӱֱ�� State students through its work-grant program, allowing students who are ineligible for Federal College Work-Study funds to find employment on campus.  The grant is renewable on an annual basis.
