Thanks to their generosity, the college was able to open The Shay Family Athletic Hall of Fame, the new home for the 88 individuals and 10 teams that have been honored in the past.

As 2020 comes to a close, ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) is taking a look back at some of its biggest stories from the year.

The University of Rochester School of Nursing recently shone the spotlight on ��Ӱֱ�� State nursing alumna Amy Campbell in an online profile article.

Christmas came a little early for ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) students staying on campus during the winter break.

The Nursing Department at ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) would like to recognize and thank the healthcare facilities who continued to support the department and its students this past semester, especially in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Every year, the University Police Department (UPD) at ��Ӱֱ�� State College does its part to make spirits a little brighter during the holiday season.

Provost Dr. Kristin Poppo said, “��Ӱֱ�� State is incredibly thankful for the Garman Foundation’s ongoing support of our students and our trades programs. This grant will allow us to renovate the space that housed our carpentry lab into a state-of-the-art, senior HVAC laboratory that will serve 40 students, thereby doubling our capacity for students.”

Applied learning is at the heart of an ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) education, with students gaining the knowledge and skills they need to succeed through hands-on, real-world projects. A terrific example of this is the college’s autobody wreck/rebuild program.

The couple’s endowment fund helps building trades, automotive trades, and heavy equipment students at the Wellsville campus further their education.

The academy included students from all across the SUNY system and took place online throughout the fall semester.

The plan has been submitted to the State University of New York (SUNY) for final approval and may adapt and evolve based on current conditions.

Dante Savasta, of Windham, transformed an abandoned World War II gantry crane in San Francisco Bay into the site of a luxurious, high-end residency that gives occupants an innovative and extravagant living experience.

In addition to being an ��Ӱֱ�� State faculty member, Jess is also a family nurse practitioner, a member of her local fire and emergency services department, an adviser to the Hope for Health Club, and so much more. She eagerly gives of her time, talents, and knowledge to so many others, touching lives and making a positive change wherever she goes.

“It was an honor to be a part of this panel of career development professionals from these prestigious universities,” Morsman said. “This webinar allowed us to share our experiences using the newly upgraded Symplicity CSM virtual career platform with our colleagues from across the country."

The ��Ӱֱ�� State Police Academy is proud to announce that 13 recruits have graduated from the 2020 session. This year’s academy yielded a 100 percent employment rate, meaning that all of the graduates were hired by police departments.

Kaleigh Ligoci, a 2009 graduate of ��Ӱֱ�� State’s culinary arts: baking, production and management program, is now the co-owner of a brand-new cake shop in the village of Liverpool called “Sugar Blossom Cake Shop.”

Koester, a 2014 building trades: building construction graduate, is now a professional hill climber who has raced his way to the very top of his sport.
