��Ӱֱ�� State College honored more than 60 students at Commencement ceremonies held for the Northland in Buffalo campus. Program Coordinator Dave Kostick presided over the event.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) chapter of SALUTE inducted three members recently. SALUTE (Service, Academics, Leadership, Unity, Tribute, Excellence) recognizes academic achievement of student veterans in both two- and four-year institutions of higher education.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) architecture major AJ Gartland (Irondequoit) has won the Edward Allen Student Award given annually by the Building Technology Educators’ Society (BTES).

��Ӱֱ�� State College masonry alum Brennon Zenoski ’13 has been named a Rochester Builders Exchange Craftsman of the Year.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) assistant professor of global and diversity studies Angela Graves has been named the 2022 Student Advocate Award winner.

��Ӱֱ�� State College electrical engineering technology major Thomas Nelson (Burdett, NY) not only received his bachelor's degree during the 111th Commencement ceremony but he won a 2014 Dodge Dart.

��Ӱֱ�� State College honored approximately 1,200 eligible graduates at the 111th commencement ceremony.

Dr. Richard Kellogg, professor emeritus of psychology at ��Ӱֱ�� State College, is the author of a new book titled “Barry Baskerville's Fishing Adventure” (Airship 27, 2022).

Following a competitive search, ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) has announced the appointment and promotion of Jeff Wilcox to the position of Chief of University Police.

��Ӱֱ�� State’s Madeline Keyes (Middleport/Business Administration) earned two top ten finishes at IHSA National Championships in Harrisburg, PA. 

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) students Megan Delianne and Alec Harrigan have been awarded the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence (CASE).

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) professors Judy Rose and Jenna Zetwick have been named SUNY Online Teaching Ambassadors.

The recent Special Olympics Track & Field Spectacular held at ��Ӱֱ�� State was featured by The Hornell Sun.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College athletic department celebrated the 2021-22 school year by hosting the annual End of Year Award ceremony.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) Agriculture and Veterinary Technology Department recently held a successful Showmanship Competition at the college farm. Students showcased horses, goats, and dairy cows.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State performing arts organizations will showcase their work this semester on Saturday, May 7 at 2 p.m. in the Cappadonia Auditorium. 

The ��Ӱֱ�� State Cultural Life Center hosted a black student business showcase in the Student Leadership Center. Six student businesses attended the event with over 100 students attending the event.

��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) Chief Financial Officer Joe Greenthal has been named the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Lander University.

��Ӱֱ�� State alum Joseph Laraiso, ’67, and Madison Szpaicher, ’17, have been honored for bringing distinction to their alma mater and to themselves through their outstanding personal and professional achievements.
