Thanks to the support of more than 200 donors and the SUNY Impact Foundation, ��Ӱֱ�� State College will provide $100,000 to its students in need through the Support Our Students (SOS) Emergency Fund.

Provost Dr. Kristin Poppo said, “During this exceedingly difficult time, ��Ӱֱ�� State is so appreciative of the grant from the Garman Family Foundation to our SOS Fund, which will benefit students adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic."

��Ӱֱ�� State will offer in-person instruction and a fully operating residential campus with classes beginning Aug. 24.

��Ӱֱ�� State College recently presented David Chilson, an instructional support assistant in the Building Trades Department, with the Student Advocate Award.

��Ӱֱ�� State College recognized 890 spring 2020 graduates during a virtual commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 20. The ceremony was presented as a Microsoft Teams Live Event.

That trend continues in 2020, as the college has achieved an employment and continuing education rate of 98 percent or higher for the 11th consecutive year. A survey of 2019 grads determined that 98 percent have either secured employment after earning their degree from ��Ӱֱ�� State or are continuing their education for another degree.

��Ӱֱ�� State College’s own Priyanka Karki and Rebecca Stevens are among the 100 State University of New York (SUNY) students who have been recently honored with Chancellor’s Undergraduate Scholarships and Graduate Fellowships.

��Ӱֱ�� State College took to Instagram recently to honor more than three dozen faculty, staff, and students through its virtual Pioneer Award Show.

��Ӱֱ�� State College is proud of its students and is delighted to recognize those who have been awarded for their excellence in academics, leadership, civic engagement, and more.

��Ӱֱ�� State is proud to announce that USA Archery has named ��Ӱֱ�� State archer Robert “Jay” Lawrence IV to its 2020 All-American Team. Lawrence is the first Pioneer to achieve this honor in the four-year history of ��Ӱֱ�� State’s program.
