ASC to host Track Quad Friday

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College will host a track and field quad meet on Friday featuring ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ University, Finger Lakes CC, Erie CC, and ASC.  Action is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.

Tracksters Open Outdoor Season

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College outdoor track and field team opened up the outdoor portion of their season with strong performances at the Howard (MD) CC Invitational.  Five Pioneers qualified for the NJCAA Division III Nationals to be held at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State in May with solid efforts.

Lax Downs Del Tech

For the second day in a row the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team netted 13 goals in a victory during their annual southern trip.  Friday, the Pioneers improved to 2-0 with a 13-11 victory over Delaware Tech in a contest played at Wesley College.

Baseball Wraps Up Florida Trip

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College baseball team wrapped up their annual trip to Cocoa Expo in Cocoa, FL by winning one of their final four games.  ASC fell 7-5 to the Ontario Prospects, lost 4-0 to Riverland (MN) CC, defeated Massasoit (MA) CC 8-3, and dropped a close one 7-5 to Brookdale (NJ) CC.

Lady Pioneers Conclude Spring Trip

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team couldn't get the bats going as they fell in their spring trip doubleheader finale.  The Lady Pioneers fell 6-0 to the County College of Morris (NJ) and 4-0 to Cumberland (NJ) County College.

Lacrosse Wins Opener

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College lacrosse team opened up their 2009 season with a convincing 13-6 victory over Harford (MD) CC in Bel Air, MD on Thursday.  Six Pioneers found the back of the net in the victory.

Softball Falls to a Pair of DII Teams

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team dropped a pair of games to NJCAA Division II competition on Thursday at Snowbird Softball in Myrtle Beach, SC.  In the opener, ASC fell 3-1 to Potomac (WV) State and 12-1 to Southwestern (IA) CC.

Lady Pioneers win two of three

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College softball team won two of three games in a tripleheader in Myrtle Beach, SC on Wednesday.  The Lady Pioneers downed Genesee CC 6-5 and Massasoit (MA) CC 11-0 but fell 9-1 to Dutchess CC in the final game of the day.

Olympic Dreams

Kell Orlando (Seneca Falls) is not your ordinary ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College student.  Orlando, a freshman motor sports technology major taking classes on the Wellsville campus, has his sights set on one day representing the USA in the Olympics on the curling ice.
