÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Jedadiah Platt (Appleton/Barker) and Jordan Rusek (Buffalo/Williamsville East) earned NJCAA DIII All-American honors following their top-15 finishes at the National Championships. Platt and Rusek were the top two runners for ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State all season long.

Eight members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State football team have been named All-Region following the Pioneers 5-4 season. The blue & gold finished the year as the runner-up in Region III.

Four members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's soccer team have been named All-Region. Kali Muhleisen (÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Almond), Hannah Holmok (÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Almond), Kelsey Murray (Greece Olympia) and Maura Tuffey (Albany/Holy Names) were all 1st team selections.

Basketball player Haley Witchella (Oxford Academy) and swimmer Danielle Thone (Wappingers Falls/Roy Ketcham) have been named the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State athletes of the week.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's basketball team got great bench play as they defeated Monroe College JV 62-55 in the consolation game of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Tournament.  The Pioneers are now 3-3 on the season heading into the Thanksgiving break.

Playing for the second time in less than eight hours, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's basketball team ran out of gas in the 2nd half and fell 73-66 to Fulton Montgomery CC.  The Pioneers fall to 5-2 on the year while FMCC improves to 7-0.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State wrestling team finished T-18th at the annual NYS Collegiate Championships held at Cornell on Saturday.  The tournament features wrestlers from every college, NCAA DI, DIII, and NJCAA, in New York that has a wrestling program.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's basketball team slowed down Rockland CC's high octane offense but the Hawks were able to pull out a 60-51 victory in a 1st round ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Tournament contest.  The Pioneers are now 2-3 on the year.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's basketball team lost a back and forth contest 75-71 to Westchester CC in the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Tournament.  The game featured seven ties and ten lead changes.

Danielle Thone (Wappingers Falls/Roy Ketcham) won three events to lead the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State swim team at the Herkimer CCC Fall Invitational. The Pioneer men finished 4th while the women finished 5th in the competition.
