Women ranked #3, Men #4 in Latest Track Poll

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State women's track & field team moved up one spot to the #3 position in the latest NJCAA Division III poll while the men's team slid down one spot to the #4 spot.

Pioneers Down Cayuga 9-8

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State lacrosse team recorded their second straight win with a 9-8 victory over Cayuga CC in a Region III contest on Wednesday.  The Pioneers are now 5-8 on the season and 4-7 in RIII play.

Pioneers and Red Barons Split Wild Doubleheader

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State and Corning CC battled in a Region III Division III doubleheader that featured more twists and turns than a mystery novel.  The Pioneers (5-23, 4-12) walked off with a 9-8 victory in game one while the Red Barons (7-15, 4-10) took game two 7-6 behind a solo homer in the top of the 9th.

Nagle Finishes 2nd, Franchina 3rd at Region III Multi

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State multi athletes Travis Nagle (Randolph) and Kayla Franchina (Cassadaga Valley) etched their name into the record book with solid showings at the Region III Decathlon and Heptathlon. Nagle was 2nd in the two-day event while Franchina was 3rd.

Lady Pioneers Split at Jefferson

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State softball team rebounded from an opening game loss at Jefferson CC (L 10-0) to win 4-3 in the second game of the Region III Division III doubleheader.

Men 6th, Women 14th at U of R

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's track & field team finished 6th out of 16 teams at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational.  The women's team was 14th out of 16.

Offense Explodes In Victory over MVCC

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State lacrosse team scored the game's first twelve goals en route to a 19-6 victory over Mohawk Valley on Saturday. The win improves the Pioneers to 4-8 on the season and 3-7 in Region III play.

Pioneers Battle Monroe Tough

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State baseball team were just outs away from defeating Monroe CC at the David Chamberlain Tournament but the Tribunes rallied for three runs in the 7th to walk-off with a 5-4 victory.

Rapan Delivers Game Winning Hit

Brett Rapan (Bolivar Richburg) singled home Kiele Wilson (Bath Haverling) in the 7th inning to break a 4-4 tie en route to a ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State 6-4 victory over Broome CC on Friday afternoon. The Pioneers clinched the series with the victory and finish the year 3-1 vs. the Hornets.

Lady Pioneers Play Wild Doubleheader

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State softball team played in a wild doubleheader at Genesee CC on Thursday. Genesee used a big five-run 5th inning in the first game to race to a 13-5 victory. In the nightcap, the Lady Pioneers scored seven runs in the 6th to tie the game at 11-11 but lost in heartbreaking style 14-13 in nine innings.
