Pioneers Swept by TC3

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State baseball team dropped a heartbreaker 3-2 in 13 innings to Tompkins Cortland CC and could not recover in game two as they fell 10-0.  The Pioneers are now 3-14 (2-5 Region III Division III) on the season.

Football and Softball Teams to Host Bone Marrow Drive

For the third year in a row the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Football and Softball teams will host a Bone Marrow Registry Drive.  The two previous drives have been larger than most in Western New York State and have averaged 130-140 registered with 40% multi-race (minority) registrants.

Both Track Teams Ranked 6th in Latest Poll

Both the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State outdoor track & field teams are ranked #6 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll. The Pioneers slipped a few spots from the initial poll last week.

Hoag Named Region Co-Athlete of the Week

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State baseball player Garrett Hoag (Dansville) has been named the Region III Co-Athlete of the week. He shares the weekly honor with Mercyhurst North East baseball player Dustin Godden.

Lady Pioneers Squander Leads

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State softball team had two run leads in both games heading to the bottom of the 7th but Erie CC rallied in both games for walk-off victories. The Kats won the opener 4-3 and the nightcap 8-7.

Pioneer Track Hosts Quad Meet

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State men's track and field team finished 2nd while the women finished 3rd in a quad meet held at Pioneer Stadium. RIT's men team won the meet with 184 points while ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ University won the women's competition with 196.5 points.

Pioneers Drop Pair to TC3

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State couldn't overcome six errors and eight walks in a doubleheader loss to Tompkins Cortland CC. TC3 won the opener 6-1 and the nightcap 11-5.

Pioneers Race Past Elmira JV

Thirteen Pioneers tallied points as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State lacrosse team raced past Elmira College JV 25-4 in the team's final non-region game of the season. The wins snaps a five-game slide and improves the blue & gold to 3-5 on the year.

Women Ranked #2, Men Ranked #4 in 1st Outdoor Track Poll

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State outdoor track & field team sits in the top five of the first NJCAA Division III poll of the season. The women sit in the #2 position while the men are ranked #4.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State baseball team scored four runs in the pivotal 5th inning to defeat Broome CC 5-3 in a Region III Division III contest in the rain on Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers are now 3-10 on the year and 2-1 in RIII DIII play.
