÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's swimming team opened up the 2011 NJCAA National Championships with strong performances in the opening night relays.  The blue & gold sit in 10th out of the 14 teams that have scored afer day one.

Ten members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College indoor track & field team have traveled to Lubbock, TX and Texas Tech University for the 2011 NJCAA National Championships.  Competition begins on Friday and runs all day Saturday.

A trio of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball players have earned postseason honors.  Camille Romero (Queens Village/Mary Louis) was named 1st team All-Region & All-WNYAC, Amie Brooks (Pavilion) was named 3rd team All-Region & All-WNYAC, and Shadeeka Campbell (Brooklyn/William Grady) was named honorable mention All-WNYAC.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball players Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD) and Patrick Parker (Jamaica/Hillcrest) have been named All-WNYAC honorable mention.

Six members of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College swimming team will compete this week at the 2011 NJCAA National Championships at the Flickenger Center on the campus of Erie CC.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College freshman Tyler Peet (Unadilla Valley) earned a 6th place finish at the 2011 NJCAA Wrestling National Championships in Spokane, WA.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball teams 2010-11 season came to an end following a 78-65 loss to #1 seed Genesee CC in the semifinals of the Region III Division II Tournament.  The Pioneers, the #4 seed, conclude the season with a 14-14 mark while the Cougars will take on #3 Mercyhurst North East in the tournament finals on Sunday.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College freshman wrestler Tyler Peet (Unadilla Valley) has advanced to the NJCAA Wrestling National Championships semifinals in the 149 lb. weight class.  Peet and the Pioneers sit in 28th place after day one of competition in Spokane, WA.

The women's 4 x 400 relay team and Brandon Lewis (Red Creek) qualified for next week's NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships with strong performances at the Collegiate Challenge at the NYC Armory.

Janet Judge,Esq, the president of Sports Law Associates LLC, will be presenting to the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College community on March 3 in the Orvis Activities Center auditorium.  Her program, Social Networking - What every student needs to know is open to all and will begin at 7 p.m.
